Legal notice and conditions of use of the device
Description of operation
The device has been designed to facilitate the opening of the main door or access door to the common areas of a building by detecting a call to the intercom.
Its operation is limited exclusively to managing the electrical signal of the intercom itself, without recording, storing or transmitting personal data, audio or video.
Regulatory compliance and responsibility of use
The manufacturer guarantees that the device complies with the applicable European regulations on electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility.
Due to its design and operation, the device is not intended for the processing of personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the Organic Law on Data Protection and the Guarantee of Digital Rights.
The installation and use of the device must be carried out with the consent of the owner or legitimate holder of the dwelling.
The device is designed to be integrated without the need for permanent modifications to the common elements of the intercom system, although it is the user's responsibility to ensure that its installation complies with the applicable regulations and the rules of the homeowners' association.
The manufacturer and distributor are not responsible for:
- Incorrect installations or those carried out by unqualified personnel.
- Improper use or use contrary to current regulations.
- Tampering with or modification of the device.
- Use to access private spaces without authorisation.
Legitimate and safe use
The device is intended exclusively to facilitate access to the common areas of the building, such as main entrances, in situations authorised by the holder of the dwelling.
Its use is not recommended for controlling access to private spaces such as dwellings, garages, storage rooms or single-family properties.
It is recommended that the installation be carried out by qualified personnel or under the supervision of the owner of the property.
CE conformity of the product
The «Keeppe Host» product bears the CE marking and complies with the applicable European directives, in particular Directive 2014/30/EU (electromagnetic compatibility) and Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS), in accordance with the harmonised standards EN 61000-6-1:2019, EN 55032:2015+AC:2016-11+A11:2020 and EN IEC 63000:2018.

Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
In compliance with Royal Decree 110/2015 on waste electrical and electronic equipment, Eurekka Home S.L. is registered in the Integrated Industrial Register of electrical and electronic equipment under number RII-AEE 20391.
At the end of its useful life, this product must not be disposed of with household waste. It must be taken to a selective collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment.
Legal warranty of the products
In compliance with the regulations in force in the European Union, all products marketed are covered by a 3-year legal warranty in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/771.
Warranty coverage
The warranty covers any lack of conformity of the product with the sales contract, including:
- Manufacturing defects.
- Absence of advertised features.
- Products unfit for their normal use.
- Differences from what was offered at the point of sale.
Warranty period
The warranty has a duration of 3 years from the date of delivery of the product.
Customer rights
In the event of a lack of conformity, the customer may choose repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract (where applicable). The seller will bear the associated costs (shipping, labour and materials).
Warranty exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Improper or negligent use.
- Incorrect installation.
- Tampering or repair by unauthorised third parties.
- Damage from knocks, drops or adverse environmental conditions.
- Failures due to external causes (power surges, etc.).
- Wear or aesthetic damage resulting from use.
Claims
To make use of the warranty, the customer must get in touch, indicating the order or invoice number, a description of the problem and, if possible, photographs or evidence. Once the case has been assessed, a solution will be offered in accordance with the applicable regulations.
